I’m including a short modified example of that process in today’s episode, written from the perspective of a fictional gal we’ll call Emma. Some of “Emma’s” writing actually came from my own journal entries and life experience. The rest, not so much.
If you haven’t read or listened to last week’s episode, I highly encourage you to do so by clicking here. Today’s episode will make a whole lot more sense.
And without further ado….

Emma’s Brain Dump
Last night I was willing to meet the new neighbors, to sit outside and have lunch with them. To get out of my comfort zone and try something new. Look at what happened when I opened up. Jeannie told me about her husband’s issue which was the same thing I went through last week!
Journal the Crazy
Dear Em,
How long do you really think you can keep this up? This positivity crap. How long how long how long? Don’t worry. I’ll wait idly by. I’ve got all the time in the world. You’ll never get rid of me. I lurk in shadows until you stumble, until you fall and I’ll come dashing to your rescue. You can trust me to lick your wounds. To keep you safe. But what you don’t realize is that I’m licking your wounds with cyanide.
Journal the Truth
You’ve got the menacing voice clamoring and squandering now. It’s afraid because you see its tricks and you’ve been relying heavily on me. Good girl. Continue to do so. I have your back. Let me handle your social life and everything else. Continue to follow your intuition about who you are and who you’ll approach.
More from Emma (some food for thought to help her pinpoint how she wants to live her life)
What fishbowl of my making am I currently swimming in? Fish don't venture past a certain point because of the limit of the bowl’s glass. Which paradigms am I operating under? Where and how can I see more of the abundant resources in my life?

I could easily have written more in each section, but you get the drift. If today’s ep doesn’t make sense, read or listen to last week’s! I hope this helps you in your AM journaling. And remember, you can always modify the process so you get the most out of it!
I would love to hear your thoughts on this process. Leave your comment below!
